Instructions

Step 1: Prep
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Grease a 9×13″ baking dish or similar size.
Step 2: Make the Egg Mixture
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Step 3: Combine
  1. Add biscuit pieces into the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly.
  2. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over top.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar (if using).
Step 4: Bake
  1. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.
Step 5: Serve
  1. Let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with extra maple syrup if desired.
