Step 1: Prepare the Meatballs
  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Form into small meatballs (about 12–14 pieces).
Step 2: Assemble the Dish
  1. Grease a round baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Place potato slices upright around the dish.
  3. Arrange the meatballs between the potato slices.
Step 3: Bake
  1. Pour béchamel sauce (or cream) evenly over the dish.
  2. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes.
  3. Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
