AIR FRYER LEMON HAND PIES

Ingredients

  • 1 package prepared pie crust dough
  • 1 cup lemon pie filling
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Wilton Sparkling Sugar

Instructions

  1. Start by laying out your dough on a floured surface.
  2. Use your biscuit cutter and make your circles. Choose a size that will allow you to put in a few tablespoons of filling.
  3. Remove the excess dough from the counter, and set it aside (as you will roll that later to make more hand pies)
  4. Add about a tablespoon of lemon pie filling to the center of the circle.
  5. Fold over the dough, and then use a fork to seal the edges.
  6. Then brush the egg on top with a pastry brush.
  7. Fill your tray up, being careful to leave space between the pies.
  8. Sprinkle some sparkling sugar on top.
  9. Place your tray in the oven.
  10. Set your air fryer oven to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check and see if they are cooked. Mine were not, so I added another 2 minutes. To get the dough golden brown.
  11. Plate, serve and enjoy!
