Ingredients
- 1 Sheet Puff Pastry, thawed but still cool
- 1 medium egg
- 1 cup cherry pie filling, room temperature
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar with ground cinnamon or turbinado sugar
Instructions
- Roll out the pastry sheet to a large square about twice its original size. Then cut the rolled pastry into 4 equal squares. A pizza cutter works well, or use a sharp knife.
- Place about 1/4 a cup of cherry pie filling in the center of each cut pastry piece.
- Brush each pastry corner with the egg wash and gather all the corners in the middle to form a dumpling.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg well to make an egg wash, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon sugar (or turbinado sugar)
- Cook in the air fryer at 360 degrees F, air fryer setting for 6-7 minutes, or until the pastry is browned. Serve warm.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
