AIR FRYER GINGERBREAD DONUTS

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 stick butter room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest grated
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Start by adding your flour, cinnamon, baking soda, ground ginger, salt, and cloves to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Then add the softened butter (to soften butter, I either leave it out on the counter for 30 minutes or put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds)

  3. Then add in the brown sugar and eggs. Mix in the lemon zest, molasses, and milk.

  4. Then spray your silicone donut and fill it with the prepared batter.

  5. Set your air fryer temperature 320 degrees F, for 9 minutes.After 9 minutes check the donuts for doneness. If they are not cooked through, then add a minute or two, until cooked through.

  6. .Plate, serve, and enjoy!
