Ingredients
- 6–8 chicken drumsticks
Sticky Honey Soy Chicken Marinade:
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons rice wine or mirin (found in the Asian section of the grocery store)
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Start by adding the drumsticks to a Ziploc Bag (Large)
- Then, add the soy sauce, honey, rice wine (mirin), and sesame oil.
- Then grate some fresh ginger.
- I keep a bottle of this minced garlic on hand. It comes in really handy for all recipes.
- Mix it all well in the bag and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, remove them from the refrigerator and place the drumsticks in the air fryer basket.
- Set the temperature to 370 degrees F.
- Set the time for 14 minutes.
- After 14 minutes, flip and set the time for another 14 minutes.
- Note: Check your chicken before consuming the drumsticks to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, or 75 Celsius.
- When fully cooked, remove the drumsticks from the Air Fryer Basket.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
