Instructions

  1. Clean mushrooms to remove loose dirt, and then pat dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel.
  2. Using three shallow bowls, fill one with bread crumbs, paprika, salt and pepper. Stir seasonings with bread crumbs to combine. Fill 2nd bowl with flour,  and the 3rd bowl with the beaten eggs.
  3. Dredge mushrooms in flour to coat, shaking off excess flour. Next, dip into the whisked egg mixture, and finally into the bread crumb mixture, giving it a light coating. Gently tap off excess crumbs.
  4. Place the battered mushrooms into the lightly sprayed Air Fryer basket. You can also line the basket with parchment paper for easy clean up of excess batter.
  5. Cook mushrooms using Air Fry at 380ºF for 8-10 minutes, turning the mushrooms halfway through cooking process until golden brown.
