AIR FRYER CHICKEN THIGHS WITH HONEY GLAZE

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, cornstarch and spices.
  2. In another shallow dish, whisk the eggs together.
  3. In a third shallow dish, add the panko.
  4. Coat the chicken thighs in flour mixture, then wash with the egg, and finally, coat with the panko crumbs.
  5. Prepare the air fryer basket by spraying it with olive oil or another high heat cooking oil.
  6. Lightly spray chicken thighs with olive oil and add to the basket. Cook at 350 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes or until internal temp is 165° Fahrenheit. For best results, turn chicken over halfway through cooking time.
  7. While chicken is cooking, prepare the glaze. Add water and honey to a small saucepan and place on cooktop over medium heat.
  8. Bring to a rolling boil, then remove from heat. Set aside to let cool. The glaze will thicken as it cools.
  9. Once chicken is done, brush the honey glaze evenly on the chicken thighs. Drizzle more on top for extra sweetness, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
