Instructions
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a rectangle about twice its size. Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal pieces, using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife. Lightly drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the asparagus spears diagonally across the center of each cut piece of pastry and top each one with 2 to 3 tablespoons of grated mozzarella cheese.
- Fold free edges over the filling, forming a bundle. In a small bowl, beat the egg well to make an egg wash. Brush the tops of each bundle with egg wash and sprinkle with the Romano
- Parmesan cheese.
- Place the bundles into the air fryer basket and cook in the air fryer at 370 degrees F, air fryer setting for 6-7 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
