Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Grate the cheese and set it aside.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 squares (or more, depending on the size of your pastry sheet).
2. Assemble the Pastry Squares:
- Place a generous amount of grated cheese in the center of each puff pastry square, creating a bed for the bacon.
- Lay 2-3 slices of bacon on top of the cheese on each square.
- Fold the corners of the puff pastry squares over the bacon and cheese to enclose the filling.
3. Egg Wash:
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl.
- Brush the beaten egg over the top of each assembled pastry square to give them a beautiful golden color when baked.
4. Air Fry:
- Place the assembled puff pastry squares in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching each other.
- Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes.
- Turn the pastries over and cook for an additional 1 minute to crisp the bottom.
5. Serve:
- Remove the pastries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy your cheesy bacon puff pastry squares hot and crispy!
