Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Pumpkin Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Use a mixer to ensure the ingredients are well blended.
- Prepare the Baking Pan:
- Grease a baking pan that fits into your air fryer. A smaller size, like 7 or 8 inches, works well for most air fryers.
- Layer the Cake:
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the greased baking pan.
- Run the cake mix through a sifter to remove any lumps. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
- Top with chopped pecans.
- Add Butter:
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the pecans and cake mix.
- Air Fryer Cooking:
- Place the pan in the preheated air fryer.
- Cook at 320°F (160°C) for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Check halfway through cooking and adjust time as needed for even cooking.
- Cool and Serve:
- Once baked, remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool.
- Serve chilled or warm, topped with a dollop of Cool Whip.
