Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Bread
- Halve the loaf of bread lengthwise.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Step 2: Air Fry the Bread Base
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 2-3 minutes.
- Place the prepared bread halves in the air fryer basket or tray. (You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.)
- Air fry the bread for 4-5 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and crispy.
Step 3: Add the Cheese
- Remove the bread from the air fryer. Generously sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over the toasted bread.
- Return the bread to the air fryer and cook at 200°C (390°F) for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
- Once done, remove the bread from the air fryer. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the cheese.
- Slice into portions and serve warm.
