- Prepare the Sausages
- Press a sage leaf onto each sausage along its length. Wrap each sausage with a slice of streaky bacon.
- Make the Maple Glaze
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, and a pinch of nutmeg. Set aside.
- Cook in the Air Fryer
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (356°F) for 3 minutes.
- Place the wrapped sausages into the air fryer basket and cook for 6–10 minutes, or until the bacon starts to turn golden and crispy (adjust cooking time based on sausage thickness).
- Add the Maple Glaze
- Pour the maple syrup mixture over the sausages and return them to the air fryer.
- Continue cooking for 2–4 minutes, or until the bacon is fully crispy and the glaze has thickened. Optionally, baste the sausages halfway through cooking for extra stickiness.
- Serve
- Transfer the pigs in blankets to a serving plate and enjoy your sticky, savory holiday treat!
