Step 1: Prepare the Cake Batter
  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk, and mix until smooth.
Step 2: Air Fry
  1. Grease a small cake pan that fits in your air fryer.
  2. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
  4. Air fry for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
Step 3: Make the Frosting & Assemble
  1. In a bowl, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Mix until creamy and spreadable.
  4. Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and serve.
