Step 1: Prepare the Strawberry Mixture
- In a bowl, mix sliced strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, then set aside.
Step 2: Make the Ice Cream Base
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk.
- Stir in the blended strawberry mixture until fully combined.
Step 3: Freeze & Serve
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Alternatively, pour into a container, cover, and freeze for 4 hours, stirring every hour for a creamy texture.
- Fold in chopped fresh strawberries before freezing, if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
