Step 1: Prepare the Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg, then mix in milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
- Gently fold in the diced apples.
Step 2: Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- Scoop small mounds of batter onto the parchment, spacing them apart.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 3: Glaze & Serve
- For a glaze, mix ½ cup powdered sugar with 1 tbsp milk and drizzle over the fritters.
- Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
