Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Batter
  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg, then mix in milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
  4. Gently fold in the diced apples.
Step 2: Air Fry
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
  3. Scoop small mounds of batter onto the parchment, spacing them apart.
  4. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Step 3: Glaze & Serve
  1. For a glaze, mix ½ cup powdered sugar with 1 tbsp milk and drizzle over the fritters.
  2. Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
