Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Boil the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Make the Cheese Sauce
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add heavy cream, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Stir and let it warm up, but don’t let it boil.
- Add shredded cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Assemble & Air Fry
- Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix the cooked pasta with the cheese sauce and transfer to an air fryer-safe baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil or melted butter.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the macaroni.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and crispy on top.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley if desired.
