Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Gently fold in diced strawberries.
Step 2: Assemble the Wontons
  1. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  2. Brush the edges with beaten egg and fold into a triangle, pressing firmly to seal.
Step 3: Fry the Wontons
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Fry wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy
  1. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
  2. Enjoy as is or with a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce!
