Step 1: Prepare the Apples
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Cream Filling
- In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, sour cream, egg, flour, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
Step 3: Assemble the Pie
- Place apples in the pie crust evenly.
- Pour the cream mixture over the apples.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Cool before slicing. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
