Step 1: Make the Dough
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
- Mix in flour, salt, and nuts until a soft dough forms.
Step 2: Shape and Bake
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
Step 3: Sugar Coat
- While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
- Cool completely and roll once more in sugar for a snowy finish.
