Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with a mix of panko and Parmesan.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per side. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Sauce
- In the same pan, add butter and sauté mushrooms and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cream, Parmesan, and thyme. Cook until sauce thickens.
Step 3: Combine and Serve
- Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or pasta.
