Instructions

Step 1: Brown the Beef
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with diced onion and garlic over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
  1. Stir in the uncooked rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring to combine.
Step 3: Bake
  1. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes.
  3. Remove foil, sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
