Step 2: Make the Pecan Topping
  1. In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  2. Stir in chopped pecans.
  3. Carefully spoon this mixture over the cheesecake layer.
Step 3: Bake
  1. Bake for 55–60 minutes or until center is set and top is golden brown.
  2. Cool completely before slicing.
