Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Dough
  1. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix to form a dough.
  3. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 2: First Rise
  1. Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Step 3: Shape & Fill
  1. Punch down dough. Divide into 8 balls.
  2. Flatten each, place cheese in the center, and seal the edges to form a stuffed ball.
Step 4: Air Fry
  1. Preheat air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  2. Brush tops with egg wash if using. Place in a greased air fryer basket with space between.
  3. Air fry for 15–20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Step 5: Serve
  1. Let cool slightly and serve warm for gooey cheese goodness.
