Instructions

Step 1: Mix the Batter
  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix just until combined (do not overmix).
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 2: Cook the Pancakes
  1. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and grease lightly.
  2. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges are set, about 2 minutes.
  3. Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
