Step 1: Mix the Batter
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix just until combined (do not overmix).
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 2: Cook the Pancakes
- Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and grease lightly.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges are set, about 2 minutes.
- Flip and cook another 1–2 minutes until golden and cooked through.
