Step 1: Prepare the Filling
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper until fully cooked. Let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Make the Pancakes
  1. In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, egg, cheese (if using), flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Take a scoop of potato mixture, flatten into a small patty in your palm.
  3. Add 1 spoonful of ground beef filling in the center and cover with more potato mix. Seal the edges and shape into a patty.
Step 3: Air Fry
  1. Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Spray basket lightly with oil.
  2. Place pancakes in the basket and spray tops with oil.
  3. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
