  • 1 1/2 lbs (700g) potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups (500g) sauerkraut, drained (rinse if preferred milder)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds (optional, traditional flavor)
