Step 1: Make the Choux Pastry
- In a saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add the flour all at once, stirring quickly until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the pan.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes, then beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth and glossy.
Step 2: Air Fry
- Preheat air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined air fryer tray or basket.
- Air fry for 15–18 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Let cool completely.
Step 3: Fill the Cream Puffs
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Slice the cooled puffs in half and pipe or spoon the whipped cream inside.
- Optional: Dust tops with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate.
