Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Sauce
  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Step 2: Add to Slow Cooker
  1. Place chicken in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the top.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Step 3: Thicken the Sauce
  1. Remove chicken and shred or slice. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry.
  3. Stir slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the sauce, stir to coat well.
