Step 1: Prepare Sauce
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
Step 2: Add to Slow Cooker
- Place chicken in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
Step 3: Thicken the Sauce
- Remove chicken and shred or slice. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry.
- Stir slurry into the sauce in the slow cooker and cook on high for 10–15 minutes until thickened.
- Return chicken to the sauce, stir to coat well.
