Step 1: Make Pudding
  1. In a large bowl, whisk the pudding mix and cold milk until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
Step 2: Fold in Whipped Topping
  1. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined and fluffy.
Step 3: Layer the Dessert
  1. In a 9×13-inch dish, layer vanilla wafers across the bottom.
  2. Top with half of the banana slices and half of the strawberries.
  3. Spoon half of the pudding mixture over the fruit.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining wafers, bananas, strawberries, and pudding.
Step 4: Chill
  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
