Creamy Garlic Mushroom and Bacon Pasta

Instructions

Step 1: Cook Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook Bacon
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon pieces until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 3: Sauté Mushrooms and Garlic
  1. In the same skillet, add butter. Add mushrooms and sauté for 5–6 minutes until browned.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Step 4: Make Cream Sauce
  1. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  2. Stir in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 5: Combine
  1. Return cooked bacon to the skillet. Add drained pasta and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
Step 6: Serve
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
