Step 1: Prepare Pound Cake Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a Twinkie or mini loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Mix in flour and baking powder. Fold in sour cream until smooth.
Step 2: Prepare Peach Filling
- In a bowl, toss diced peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Step 3: Fill & Bake
- Spoon half the pound cake batter into each mold. Add a spoonful of peach filling. Top with remaining batter.
- Bake 25–30 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 4: Make Cream Filling
- Whisk together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
Step 5: Fill Twinkies
- Let cakes cool completely. Use a piping bag to fill each cake with cream from the bottom or side.
Step 6: Serve
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing if desired. Enjoy cold or room temperature!
