Instructions

Step 1: Sauté Veggies
  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and jalapeños. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 2: Add Broth and Simmer
  1. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3: Stir in Cheese and Cream
  1. Reduce heat to low and stir in cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  2. Add shredded cheeses and stir until fully melted.
Step 4: Add Chicken and Bacon
  1. Stir in grilled chicken, crumbled bacon, and heavy cream. Season with salt, pepper, and optional smoked paprika or chipotle powder.
  2. Simmer for another 5–10 minutes until hot and thickened to your liking.
Step 5: Serve
  1. Ladle soup into bowls and top with extra bacon, cheese, green onions, or cilantro.
