Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky.
  2. Add flour and pulse just to combine. If the mixture is too wet, add a bit more flour.
Step 2: Form and Air Fry
  1. Form the mixture into small patties or balls (about 8–10 fritters).
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
  3. Lightly brush or spray the fritters with olive oil.
  4. Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Serve
  1. Let cool slightly and serve with lemon wedges or yogurt dip.
