Step 1: Prepare the Mixture
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky.
- Add flour and pulse just to combine. If the mixture is too wet, add a bit more flour.
Step 2: Form and Air Fry
- Form the mixture into small patties or balls (about 8–10 fritters).
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly brush or spray the fritters with olive oil.
- Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Serve
- Let cool slightly and serve with lemon wedges or yogurt dip.
