Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Caramel
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly (about 4–5 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 2: Coat and Bake
  1. Place oyster crackers in a large bowl. Pour caramel mixture over them and toss until evenly coated.
  2. Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Step 3: Cool and Serve
  1. Let cool completely on the tray. The caramel will harden as it cools.
  2. Break apart and enjoy or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
