Step 1: Prepare the Caramel
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly (about 4–5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 2: Coat and Bake
- Place oyster crackers in a large bowl. Pour caramel mixture over them and toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Watch closely to avoid burning.
Step 3: Cool and Serve
- Let cool completely on the tray. The caramel will harden as it cools.
- Break apart and enjoy or store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
