Instructions
Step 1: Assemble the Turon
- Place a wrapper on a clean surface. Spread about 1 tablespoon of ube halaya in the center.
- Place a banana half on top and sprinkle a little brown sugar if using.
- Fold the sides inward and roll tightly like a spring roll. Seal the edge with water.
Step 2: Air Fry the Turon
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray or brush the rolls with oil.
- Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Step 3: Make the Ube Drizzle
- In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine ube halaya, milk, and condensed milk.
- Heat until smooth and pourable. Adjust consistency with more milk if needed.
Step 4: Serve
- Drizzle the warm ube sauce over the freshly cooked turon.
- Serve immediately while crisp!
