Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Base
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk, sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the corn and stir occasionally until it starts to simmer.
Step 2: Thicken the Mixture
  1. Lower the heat and slowly pour in the cornstarch-water mixture while continuously stirring.
  2. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes very thick and smooth (about 5–8 minutes).
Step 3: Chill and Set
  1. Pour the thickened mixture into a lightly greased 8×8 pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours or until fully set.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
  1. Top with shredded cheese or toasted coconut before serving.
  2. Slice into squares and enjoy cold!
