Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. Use a sharp knife to carefully create a slit in the side of each fillet to form a pocket for stuffing. Do not cut all the way through.
  3. Season salmon with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Stuffing
  1. In a bowl, mix shrimp, crab, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, Old Bay seasoning, cheese, and parsley until well combined.
Step 3: Stuff and Bake
  1. Gently stuff each salmon pocket with the seafood mixture.
  2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear salmon for 2 minutes on each side to get a light crust.
  3. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, until salmon is cooked through and stuffing is hot.
Step 4: Finish and Serve
  1. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle smoked paprika on top (optional).
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with lemon wedges or a fresh salad.
