Instructions

Step 1: Make the Crust
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press mixture into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes. Let cool completely.
Step 2: Make the Cream Filling
  1. In a saucepan, whisk sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Temper egg yolks with some of the hot mixture, then return to the pan. Cook 2 more minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into cooled crust. Chill for 30 minutes.
Step 3: Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer
  1. Beat peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into peanut butter mixture.
  3. Spread evenly over the chilled cream filling.
Step 4: Garnish & Chill
  1. Decorate with whipped cream rosettes or cookie crumbs if desired.
  2. Chill pie for at least 3 hours before serving.
