Step 1: Prepare the Vegetables
- Remove any wilted outer leaves from the cabbage. Slice into thin wedges or strips, about ½-inch wide.
- If using onion, peel and slice it into similar-sized wedges or rings to match the cabbage pieces.
Step 2: Season & Preheat
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the cabbage and onions with oil, salt, pepper, and your chosen seasoning (like Vegeta or paprika).
Step 3: Air Fry
- Place the seasoned cabbage and onion in a single layer in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd).
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through, until tender with crispy, caramelized edges.
Step 4: Serve and Enjoy
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy immediately.
- These make a delicious side dish or a tasty topping for tacos, grain bowls, or even breakfast scrambles!
