Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with foil for easy cleanup.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
Step 2: Season Generously
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil (or melted butter), paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, black pepper, and brown sugar (if using).
- Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken thighs, coating them evenly.
Step 3: Bake to Perfection
- Place the chicken thighs in a single layer, skin side up, in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Rest and Garnish
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven to allow the juices to redistribute.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a fresh touch before serving.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
- Serve hot with your favorite sides — mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies pair perfectly!
