Step 1: Brown the Beef
- In a large skillet or pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Step 2: Add Aromatics
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
Step 3: Add Seasonings
- Stir in bouillon powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix well to coat the beef evenly with the spices.
Step 4: Add Cabbage & Tomatoes
- Add the chopped cabbage and canned diced tomatoes (including juice). Stir everything together.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender.
Step 5: Serve
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve warm, garnished with parsley or green onions if desired.
