In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy with no lumps.
Add the hot cocoa mix, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined and smooth.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Top with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips or shavings if desired.
Chill for 15–20 minutes before serving for best texture. Serve with cookies, graham crackers, pretzels, or fresh fruit.
