Instructions
- In a bowl, mix buttermilk, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Add chicken pieces and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine flour and crushed cornflakes.
- Remove chicken from marinade, let excess drip off, then coat each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket.
- Lightly spray the chicken with oil and air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with dipping sauces like garlic mayo, ketchup, or spicy ranch.
