Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C). Brush cabbage wedges or halves with olive oil or butter and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place cabbage in the air fryer basket and cook for 12–15 minutes until slightly tender. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil or bacon fat over medium heat. Sauté onion, bell peppers, and garlic until softened.
  4. Add sausage slices and cook until browned. Add shrimp, Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes until shrimp turn pink, then remove from heat.
  6. Spoon the shrimp and sausage mixture into the cabbage pieces. Add cheese inside if using.
  7. Return stuffed cabbage to the air fryer and cook for 10–12 minutes until cabbage is tender and cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot.
