Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease thoroughly.
  2. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the ranch mix, au jus mix, pepperoncini peppers, pepperoncini juice, and beef broth.
  3. Add the cubed butter on top of the beef mixture and allow it to melt into the sauce.
  4. Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to a sloppy joe consistency.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the frozen garlic bread in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  6. Spoon the Mississippi beef mixture generously over each garlic bread slice.
  7. Sprinkle shredded provolone evenly over the top.
  8. Return to the air fryer and cook for about 3 minutes, until the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
  9. Let the sandwiches rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to set.
