- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease thoroughly.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in the ranch mix, au jus mix, pepperoncini peppers, pepperoncini juice, and beef broth.
- Add the cubed butter on top of the beef mixture and allow it to melt into the sauce.
- Simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to a sloppy joe consistency.
- Meanwhile, cook the frozen garlic bread in the air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- Spoon the Mississippi beef mixture generously over each garlic bread slice.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone evenly over the top.
- Return to the air fryer and cook for about 3 minutes, until the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.
- Let the sandwiches rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to set.
