  1. Preheat the air fryer to 325°F (165°C) and line the basket with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the dough evenly into four bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring to create pink, blue, purple, and yellow dough.
  7. Scoop small portions from each color and gently press them together to form a marbled tie-dye dough ball. Avoid overmixing to keep the colors distinct.
  8. Place dough balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
  9. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.
  10. Allow cookies to rest for 2–3 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool completely.
