Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper. Add them to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add the red bell pepper to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic and spinach, cooking until the spinach wilts.
- Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the pan. Add the cooked noodles.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour over the noodle mixture and toss to combine well.
- Allow the mixture to heat through for another 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve hot and enjoy your Surf & Turf Steak & Shrimp Lo Mein!
Chef’s Tips
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak in soy sauce and garlic for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Substitute lo mein noodles with rice noodles for a different texture.
- Ensure the pan is hot before adding the steak to achieve a nice sear.
