Advertising

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness of about 1/2 inch.
  2. In a shallow dish, place the flour. In another dish, beat the eggs. In a third dish, combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast first in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in the panko mixture, pressing to adhere well.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the basket.
  6. Air fry for 10 minutes, turn the cutlets, and continue to cook for another 10 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Chef’s Tips

  • For extra crispiness, spray the breaded chicken lightly with cooking spray before air frying.
  • You can add different spices to the breadcrumb mixture for varying flavors.
  • For a gluten-free option, substitute flour and panko with gluten-free alternatives.
