Instructions

  5. In a baking dish, arrange a layer of zucchini slices, followed by the sausage mixture, and top with a layer of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses.
  6. Repeat the layering process, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
